A bit about me
I am a graphic designer with a spark for editorial design, visual storytellig and branding.
Being Bulgarian, growing up in Norway and speaking three languages fluently I have developed an appreciation for contrasts and contradictions, which I often incorporate into my work. I am not afraid to colour outside the lines and push boundaries, while still maintaining a thoughtful and analytical approach to my work. I am constantly striving to improve and grow in my field.​

I graduated from the University of Southeast Norway in 2021, where I studied visual communications. After my bachelors degree, I took on a two-year apprenticeship at Siste Skrik Kommunikasjon, a communication agency based in Oslo, Norway. This gave me hands-on experience in the field. Additionally, I spent several months in Italy on an exchange program, where I worked at a printing house, further expanding my knowledge of the industry.​

When I'm not in the glow of a computer screen I am constantly trying out new hobbies. I stay up late and enjoy the quiet moments during the night. I drink a lot of coffee, I love sunsets and I have a soft spot for dogs. ​

My Professional Story
Graphic Designer,
Tchaeva Design
October 2023 -
Since completing my apprenticeship, I have dedicated my time to running my own sole proprietorship, Tchaeva Design. During this period, I have worked on a variety of projects, including:
- providing illustrations, design and proofreading services for a book for the Norwegian Correctional Service
- branding for an Olympic alpine skier
- various other smaller assignments
Additionally, I have collaborated with Siste Skrik Kommunikasjon, my most recent employer, on a project basis, contributing to the magazine 'Mestern'.
This experience has allowed me to further develop my skills in graphic design and branding while working independently. I am proud of the diverse range of projects I have been involved in and the creative solutions I have delivered to my clients.

Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship at Siste Skrik Kommunikasjon, a communication agency based in Oslo, Norway. Varied tasks within design - editorial design, production of social media ads, animation, idea and concept development. Three months exchange in Sardinia, Italy at a printing house named Alldigital. My tasks included layout of business cards, brochures, concert tickets, posters, rollups and calendars, logo development, as well as textile print and big format printing.

My degree is from The University of Southeast Norway. The education was focused on strategic design through practical work and theory. Some of the things we worked with was packaging design, magazine design, branding, marketing and media planning, digital design, communication strategy, text and typography and external customer assignments.
